Is this the first American-manufactured milk bottle to be pyro-glazed?
The bottle was made in Clarksburg, West Virginia by the Travis Glass Company. It was printed in red, but seventy years in a dump has turned the printing black and the bottle a little 'sick'.
Goldsboro Dairies used embossed aqua bottles in Edwardian times, but this is their first printed bottle to be found.
